Created by Rio 12 years agoDespina began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa in 1984, after Rio and Michael began doing so the year before. In 1991 Despina was baptized in Durban, South Africa, remaining zealous and doing the best she could with her limited English up until being diagnosed with dementia in Jan 2010.
Her funeral service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Armagh and her memorial talk was delivered by the presiding overseer Keith Campbell (see video).
